Theme Support

Please go through the knowledge base as it covers all frequently asked questions about our themes.

How to add a heading to your content

A fantastic way to break up content and give it great formatting is to use headings. Tumblr already has this feature built in and we use it on some our themes already.

To make a heading you simply select the text and hit the “H” button. Tumblr then automatically resizes it. Our themes will also use this heading.

How do I center my images and text?

Please note: This is for advanced users only who have knowledge of html and css. Results may vary a lot and could result in very unwanted modifications.

You can add an extra line of code in the “Add Custom CSS” section which is located in the Advanced panel. You can find the Advanced panel at the bottom of the Customization panel.

Tagging posts is Tumblr’s way of categorising content. You can link to tag pages in the navigation by creating a custom link.

All of our themes support custom links in the navigation in the form of Tumblr redirects.

An example of a tag page would be – yourblog.tumblr.com/tagged/YOURTAG

To insert a custom link, go to the customization panel for your blog, scroll to the bottom and hit “Add a page”, then choose “Redirect” from the options. Fill out the fields.

Please note this option may not show when you’ve created a new Tumblr account. You may have to wait a few days for it to appear.

By default Tumblr enables their standard mobile theme for all blogs.

If you would like to use the mobile version of our theme you will need to turn off the default mobile theme. You can find this option in the “Advanced” panel which you will find at the bottom of your customisation panel.

Please note that if you are using the Tumblr app, all blogs are forced to use the standard mobile theme. This is something we have no control over.

We recommend using Tumblr’s standard mobile theme because it is much quicker than any theme and is usually a lot easier to use.
